The Gallivant is our new wool blend forties style suit, with classic forties tropical style. This suit is a high-quality vintage style two-piece suit from our Socialite label. This suit has a classic midcentury-era wartime look. Both the jacket and suit are realised in a versatile and neutral beige stripe cloth that allows them to get plenty of use in your wardrobe, worn together or separately.

As always with our Socialite range, we have carefully replicated an original forties vintage suit jacket and trousers to create our authentic Gallivant suit.

The jacket has three patch pockets, while the trousers have an authentic high waist fit and fishtail back detail.

The Gallivant jacket is available in two lengths: short and regular. This listing is for the suit with the short length jacket. The trousers are available in one length only.

SIZING NOTE: The Gallivant trousers are high-waisted, so their cut may mean a tighter fit. For better accuracy when selecting your size, measure your waist’s circumference just below the navel. Should you fall between sizes, we recommend ordering the next size up. Measurements on our size chart are accurate to approximately a quarter inch.
